It’s very difficult to take any of the five permanent members with veto rights over anything that goes on in the Security Council, it’s hard to get them off.

But we have used the Security Council, we have used the General Assembly to isolate Russia, to condemn Russia, to kick Russia off of the Human Rights Council.

The president has been clear. The secretary has been clear in his discussions with the Israelis that there has to be a plan to ensure for the safety of civilians in Gaza.

We know the outcomes of these sham referenda were predetermined in Moscow. They, in no way, represent a legitimate expression of the will of the Ukrainian people. The will of the Ukrainian people is clear every day as they fight valiantly…
