Well, he's attacking Zelenskyy because he doesn't like him and he hasn't liked him since the famous perfect phone conversation in the summer of 2019 about basically threatening to withhold U.S. security assistance to Ukraine unless Zelenskyy and his government cooperated in the hunt for Hillary Clinton's computer server.
