This is a slam dunk. I mean, this is not -- this should not be a difficult case to resolve. This is a classic Section 2 violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the crown jewel of the civil rights movement.
I fear is that they will somehow overturn a vast number of cases that have found a way in which to say that affirmative action is appropriate.
The cornerstone of American civil rights law. I am deeply disappointed, deeply disappointed with the court`s decision.
