This is a slam dunk. I mean, this is not -- this should not be a difficult case to resolve. This is a classic Section 2 violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the crown jewel of the civil rights movement.

I fear is that they will somehow overturn a vast number of cases that have found a way in which to say that affirmative action is appropriate.

In this moment, steps must be taken to respond to the authoritarian measures being considered in certain states and now so brazenly taken in Texas.

If America can see what I`m seeing up here today, this nation will move.
