This is a slam dunk. I mean, this is not -- this should not be a difficult case to resolve. This is a classic Section 2 violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the crown jewel of the civil rights movement.
The Independent State Legislature Doctrine says that Courts should not have any role in the redistricting determination. It's an affront to our notion of checks and balances.
