President Obama has ordered the Justice Department to stop defending the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act. Now, the act defines marriage as only between a man and a woman. Attorney General Eric Holder says the president has concluded that classifications based on sexual orientation should be scrutinized with higher standards.
