Eleanor Holmes Norton: “Every rule in the Federal Register is finalized after a thorough and intensive public comment period.”

I am outraged at the number and scope of anti-D.C. home rule riders in the bill released today.

Our local police force should not be subject to federalization, an action that wouldn't be possible for any other police department in the country.

I’m gonna run. I don’t know why anybody would even ask me.

I believe this bill strikes the middle ground, while showing Congress' support for LGBTQ+ individuals.
