H.R. 8505, the Household Goods Shipping Consumer Protection Act, restores the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's authority to issue civil penalties against bad actors and enhances registration criteria.

The former President wants to make his 2017 massive tax giveaway for the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations permanent.

H.R. 8505 would provide FMCSA with better tools to root out unscrupulous actors, which are also harmful to consumers and highway safety.

Our local police force should not be subject to federalization, an action that wouldn't be possible for any other police department in the country.
