Eleanor Holmes Norton: “Republicans have long expressed an interest in overturning the will of D.C. residents to ban access to abortion in D.C.”

I believe this bill strikes the middle ground, while showing Congress' support for LGBTQ+ individuals.

This bill would establish a commonsense process to ensure that qualified nominees are not indefinitely delayed by Senate inaction.

I have urged the administration to remove these troops immediately.

I will use every tool at my disposal to stop these riders from becoming law, and I commit to reminding my fellow lawmakers across the aisle that D.C. residents deserve the same consideration as their own constituents at every opportunity.
