I am confident that we made the right decision here, that Congress has been asking us, for now 18 years, to find a way to get our systems to work together with the Department of Defense.

I do believe that our unions are productive partners with us, and I do really appreciate the collaboration that we have because I believe that they care about getting the right services to Veterans.

It is my hope we can work together to ensure talented medical professional remain in the VA to deliver quality care to our veterans.

Since April of 2017, I think this is a very much better environment for our veterans.
