There is no doubt that the people of Gaza--children, women, men--are experiencing an acute humanitarian crisis.

Our investment abroad does not come at the expense of our strength at home. Far from it.

It does hurt us and it is imperative that we get ambassadors confirmed and here is why.

We need to keep up this momentum. That requires a State Department budget that we fully resource.
