The bottom line is this: We want Ukraine to win.

The need for U.S. global leadership--and cooperation with allies and partners--has never been greater.

We are working to do that. Obviously, in the countries that have been on the receiving end of coups, there are some limits that we have to abide by.

The response we got was unfortunately not the yes that we were looking for. A yes that virtually the entire world has given.
