I think it was a recent President who used this line first, ``But there they go again.'' The party that was against Social Security, against Medicare, is now against health care reform. Ask me why I am not surprised. Their coalition with the economic powerful interests in this country once again thinks that it is wrong for America to take a step forward. They are going and they are doing it again. They are taking the special interests, they are joining up with them, and they are fighting what is best for America. They said the same kinds of silly things when they fought Social Security. They did it again when we provided Medicare for our senior citizens, and now when we are trying to provide uninterruptible, guaranteed medical health care for every American, they are on the attack again telling us we do not need it. They were wrong on Social Security, they were wrong on Medicare, and they are wrong that there is no medical crisis in America. We need to have health care that you cannot lose, that you cannot be precluded from getting because you have a member of your family with an illness and that you cannot lose when you lose your job. We need to support this President in his effort to make health care coverage universal.
