It undercuts humanitarian assistance, undermines global health programs, threatens women’s health and breaks promises to our partners and our allies while surrendering influence to our adversaries.

This is a pattern of negligence — cutting corners to protect the company's bottom line at the expense of consumers and these conditions show a complete disregard for food safety and for the public health of the American people.

This will not be the last outbreak of a deadly infectious disease. We must invest in global health infrastructure.

Toxic substances must be banned from food packaging – Americans deserve the peace of mind that the products they buy are not increasing their risk of cancer or hormone disruption.
