Richard Blumenthal: “I, like my colleagues, support comprehensive data security legislation.”

This disaster declaration is a strong step toward bringing federal aid to Connecticut following severe floods last month.

It fails to provide for adequate enforcement.

It’s illogical, illegal, intolerable — and that’s in effect what the court found.

There’s no excuse for this administration disobeying the law and withholding this funding.
