This disaster declaration is a strong step toward bringing federal aid to Connecticut following severe floods last month.

There’s no excuse for this administration disobeying the law and withholding this funding.

“After all those horrific deaths and public outcry, we were told DHS was going to change,” he said. “Again and again, those promises were proven false.”

It’s illogical, illegal, intolerable — and that’s in effect what the court found.
