That op-ed piece is a pretty obvious effort to clean up the debacle of his testimony to the judiciary committee a week ago. And that testimony was really profoundly revealing. Almost like taking the mask off the judge and showing the real person. And what he did this that testimony was show someone who was angry, vengeful, self-pitying, and threatening.
