Ned Lamont: “This project being fully operational is a significant milestone for Connecticut and a welcome addition to our energy…”

This $19.5 million state investment will help nonprofits make improvements that are too often out of reach, allowing them to focus more of their resources on what matters most—the people they serve.

Connecticut is fortunate to have so many talented and dedicated teachers who work every day to help our students succeed.

Whether it is a new classroom, a safer building, upgraded technology, or improvements that lower energy costs, these investments make a real difference.

I am so proud to share that during the 2025-2026 school year, 156 Connecticut youth representing 67 high schools across the state earned a Serve Connecticut Community Impact Award.
