As your Senator, I'm going to make sure we have the strongest Army on the face of this earth. But I also know that America's strongest when we work in concert with our allies, when we stay true to our values and we deal with the rest of the world with respect!

A bipartisan majority of legislators in Connecticut agreed that kids who grow up in Connecticut and graduate from Connecticut public schools should be able to afford to go to college here, including those who have applied for legal status.
I understand that this equipment is intended to keep our towns and roads safe—and that’s a good thing—but we must have clear policies in place regarding what is happening with this data, who has access to it, and how it can be used.
I am particularly troubled by the decision to eliminate the exemption for veterans who risked their lives for our country and are now having the rug pulled out from under them.
