Mr. President, I rise to support the amendment. I thank Senator Wyden and those who worked with him on this amendment for, frankly, calling our attention to this important matter and working to ensure that our efforts to salvage the U.S. Postal Service-- to change it, to keep it alive--do not come at the expense of our critical efforts to ensure access to the voting booth by mail as well as no-excuse absentee programs that rely heavily on dependable mail service. I support the amendment. If there is no further debate, I urge that we adopt the amendment by voice vote. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is on agreeing to amendment No. 2020, as modified.
