Earlier the Senate Republican leader read a letter from the mayor of Gorazde saying, astoundingly, movingly, that he felt the people of Gorazde would rather U.S. planes bombed Gorazde in an effort to force out the Serbian aggressors than have the people of Gorazde die defenseless at the hands of those Serbian aggressors. So their desire is clear.”
