I am grateful that all the parties have come together about this amendment. I think we have a solution that doesn't create another board but does realize the goals that Senator Wyden and the other bipartisan sponsors of the amendment have, to have a reasonable means of asking for a second look, if I can put it that way, at a classification decision made by the executive branch with regard to congressional access to intelligence information. I am very pleased about that and I hope we can get the language here and do it this afternoon. I also say to our colleagues how important is the announcement made earlier today by the bipartisan leadership, Senator Frist and Senator Daschle. I hope people will respond to it. First, I thank the two of them for the extent to which they have worked in support of the effort Senator Collins and I are making and that they are together in support of the effort, which is exactly the standard that needs to be set as we work on this critical national security matter.
