I thank Representative Shays for yielding. This is a very difficult time for the Meskill family, whose husband, father, grandfather served as Governor of the State of Connecticut, was a judge in the Second Circuit, chief judge from 1991 through 1992. He served in this body with distinction. He was the former mayor of New Britain, Connecticut. I had the opportunity to work with Governor Meskill, Congressman Meskill, and our hearts and thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, his lovely wife; and his entire family.
