I thank the gentleman. It is my hope and understanding that this may not be a remedy that we can have through the Rules Committee, and rather than put the body through a series of votes, if we could work with the committee and the committee of cognizance, the Armed Services Committee, I know that Ranking Member Smith is here and certainly will work with and strive to correct this anomaly that has occurred, and I believe that like-minded people on both sides of the aisle want to see this succeed.
