I have actually found this discussion incredibly interesting. And I think anyone listening to the panel would arrive at the conclusion that yes, regulation does impose costs on companies like Mr. Hatfield's, costs that may or may not be wise, depending on whether they reduce the risk premium that investors would subtract from Mr. Hatfield's business to invest in it.
