I attended the Governors' meeting earlier today, and Governor Ridge said he would be glad to help out and try to convince people to vote for the amendment. I say to the Senator, with all due respect, I am also quite confident Vice President Gore does not support the Coverdell legislation, if there is any doubt about that at all.
