Title I funds go to the poorest students, the poorest school districts in the United States. All of us know that in the 21st century these children have to be the best prepared generation we have ever produced. My hope is to get the resources back to these communities. It was unanimously adopted by the Democrats and Republicans in the committee. We urge the adoption of the amendment.
