I want to take the floor briefly this afternoon to announce some good news. Early this morning, at around 2 a.m., we were able to reach an agreement on the election reform bill between the House and the Senate. This has been a long and arduous trail over the last two years, as I know the Presiding Officer is aware. I believe the Presiding Officer was in the Chair about a year-and-a-half ago when we announced on the floor that we had an agreement, at least in the Senate anyway, on this issue. So it is a historic day.
