I want to take a couple of minutes, because next week we will be having a markup in the Senate Banking Committee of the financial regulatory reform effort that we have been involved in now for about 2 years. It was 2 years ago this past weekend that the collapse of Bear Stearns occurred in 2008. Not that that was the beginning of the problems; that was merely the evidence of how deep the problems were. Of course, the events that unfolded in 2008 only confirmed what was happening in March was the beginning of a near total collapse of the financial system in this country.
