Not only is it the right thing to do to allow people to have a minimal number of days in which they are paid to stay home when they're sick, but it's also a pretty good business practice to make sure that you don't have really sick people showing up and making everybody else sick.
Senator Murphy advocates for paid sick leave as both ethical and beneficial for business.
