In my district, forget buying a house, if you want to rent an apartment with a couple of bedrooms, it is at least $600, $700 a month. You are talking $10,000 a year when it is all said and done. You add on $9,000 for health care costs, which under that plan that he found on a website, the minimum amount you have to pay before you even have a dime of health care coverage kick in, and you have $2,000 or $3,000 left over to do everything else, to put food on the table and educate your kids and pay for heat. It is mind numbing that people can't see that health care is so expensive that it is prohibitive for families doing the right thing. This is humane and it is right. The conspiracy that gets thrown out there, and the stats and the numbers, by the right wing on this issue are pretty easy to punch through in the end.
