It puts everyone in jeopardy. It puts the individual who lodged the restraining order in jeopardy, and it puts the law enforcement officers who get in the middle of that conflict in jeopardy. It is hard enough for law enforcement officers to try to enforce a restraining order. This is a spouse who is angry and who often is at the peak of their fury.
