We are going to work every single minute of every single day over the course of this week and next week to try to get enough of our Republican colleagues to yes. I hope they are moved by what they have witnessed in the way that the rest of this country has been moved. This is a test of democracy. I mean, I think a lot of people in this country are giving up on democracy. And if we fail to come together in the wake of last week, I think a lot more people will choose to give up on democracy.
