That is correct. I am still waiting for one of our Republican colleagues to come to the floor and suggest that the individuals on the no-fly list have their right to fly restored, because if you are so worried about the wrong people being on that list, then you should come to the floor and propose those individuals be able to get on a plane. But no one is proposing that because they would be tarred and feathered by their constituents if they were to propose individuals who have had intersection with terrorist groups be able to get on a plane at their local airport. Thus, it is hard to understand why there is a belief that none of these people should fly, but all of these people should be able to buy assault weapons.

Can any of my Republican colleagues defend the president selling announcements from the White House for $100,000 a month, in the middle of a war?
Now that court documents have confirmed what we knew to be true, we write to demand that you restore previously awarded funding that the Trump administration has weaponized in an attempt to punish perceived political enemies.
Yes, I will support a deal to end this war and reopen the strait. I am prepared to support a bad deal to end this war and reopen the strait because the only deal that is available at this point in time is a terrible bad deal.
The price of this war is being plainly paid first and foremost by our soldiers, who are being put in harm's way for a war that is making America weaker every day.
