There is no model for it. We have hamstrung the FBI and the Attorney General by asking them to do more and more with the same amount of resources. To ask them to go through dozens and dozens of court processes--remember, there were 240 people on these lists who tried to get guns last year. So we are talking about a lot of court processes they would have to undertake. It is just totally unrealistic, totally unprecedented. It makes no sense at all. I thank the Senator from Rhode Island.
