I think the clouds are being hung this weekend. It’s going to take a little while to get them motorized, and they’ve got to get them balanced.

This resolution is a chance for this body to end the war. And so we are pleading once again, maybe the 10th time that we've had a resolution like this, for our colleagues to join us.

The people, whether they're Republicans, independents, or Democrats, are telling us loudly and unequivocally, end this war.

We shouldn't wait for their permission. We need to do this in the next 12 months. And so, while I would like them at the table, the last thing we should do is give them veto power.
