To all who voted today, thank you for making a critical point clear, that in America, and in Colorado, we believe in a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Bringing these cases to trial was the right thing to do for justice, for Elijah McClain, and for healing in the Aurora community.

This movement is what democracy looks like.

I won’t tolerate that lawlessness. I won’t bend the knee. I will always fight back.
