When I hear from people that they know young people who have easier access to guns or fentanyl than a job, we’ve got to do something about it.

This has been a shuttered facility for quite some time. It can’t just be picked up and put into use without going through the required reviews. They are there for a reason.

It will result in unnecessary costs passed onto Coloradans in higher electric bills and more pollution in the region.

Neither DHS nor ICE engaged in the required public review process involving the necessary analysis of potential environmental impacts from any of the construction, renovation or operation of this facility.
