Today free speech has been frozen on the House floor. I never thought I could live to see that day. We have now had a ruling today that newspapers can discuss these issues, editorial boards can discuss these issues, but the Members of this body who are most affected are gagged and frozen.

I was concerned about the words ``shameless demagoguery.'' I think those are words we could have taken down, and I do not really want to do that. But I think that is a very strong word.
I just wanted to respond that in the Wright case it took 2 weeks to get a special counsel, and in the Gingrich case we talked about 15 months. I think there is a great difference. Thank you.
