The church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our founding fathers intended it. And I`m tired of this separation of church and state junk. It`s not in the Constitution. It was in a stinking letter, and it means nothing like what they say it does.

This isn’t the final stop and I’ll have at least one more vote on this bill after it comes out of conference.
Not one piece of hardware or software from the People’s Republic of China belongs on a police or federal drone in the United States, or in any piece of related equipment for that matter.
My concerns about Section 219 and authorizing bureaucrats to give away America’s secrets are well known, so these talks and getting a commitment to get that stripped out were important.
It’s a big issue on the left and the right, and many of my constituents have reached out. They don’t want this provision in the bill.
