Protecting America’s intellectual property for future generations is non-negotiable.

I wouldn’t elect somebody just for the sake of that. I do believe in proper representation and people doing the job that they were elected to do, that they swore that they would do.

My concerns about Section 219 and authorizing bureaucrats to give away America’s secrets are well known, so these talks and getting a commitment to get that stripped out were important.

We must protect the Fourth Amendment, tax dollars, and local departments from signing complex contracts that bring in potentially dangerous foreign components and software.
