The Department of Interior officially stated in its recent letter to Congress about the study that its preferred management option is the creation of a new, national historical park.

By investing in our parks and promoting them to visitors, especially internationally, we can have the dual benefit of an improved National Park System and a stronger economy that produces more jobs.

I believe hydraulic fracking is safe. We know that, from everything we have seen, there is not a single case where hydraulic fracturing has created an environmental problem for anyone. We need to make sure that story is told.

We can't allow this to happen.
