I would think that the RNC could find someone who isn't a criminal defendant who could make sure that there is election integrity in the next election.

I think it's clearly a warning sign. These are protest votes. These are people who are not happy with how he has presented himself and the positions he's taken on certain issues.

Well, I think it's part of President Trump's theater or certainly his style, to make a lot of bold claims. And then some of them he will act on, and some of them he will back off of.
