I was unable to vote on the bills and subsequent amendments due to travel to Sutherland Springs, Texas, to meet with the victims, their families, and the first responders of the attack that took place on November 5th, 2017. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea'' on rollcall No. 616, ``yea'' on rollcall No. 617, ``yea'' on rollcall No. 618, ``nay'' on rollcall No. 619, and ``yea'' on rollcall No. 620. ____________________
