Mr. Speaker, isn't that amazing? Republicans can't even find elected Representatives willing to come down here on the floor and defend taking kids away from their parents. They are out of speakers because Republicans are embarrassed. They know that they cannot face the American people, no less their Maker, knowing that they are complicit in tearing innocent children away from mom and dad. Mr. Speaker, I yield 1 minute to the gentleman from California (Mr. Thompson).
