One of the ways that H.R. 15 was actually brought to the floor of the House and introduced was by the chief sponsor of the bill. The gentleman from Florida, in his short time in the House, has made an enormous impression, and particularly in pushing for comprehensive immigration reform. H.R. 15, which is very similar to the Senate bill--and if we were to pass it in this body, it would be able to be ratified with the changes and sent to the President's desk--continues to gain support in this body. And I am happy to yield to its principal author, the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Garcia).
