It must be our goal to ensure hardworking Americans are able to retire with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Doing nothing to preserve the multiemployer pension system is simply not a viable alternative, whether you are a Republican or a Democrat.

I believe we have the same goal. I look forward to finding a shared bipartisan path forward on legislation.

I do not think this hearing is in the best interests of my constituents, including Mr. Lunny.
