I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of title I (page 6, after line 6) insert the following: SEC. __. LIMITATION ON HYDRAULIC FRACTURING. No lease or other authorization may be issued under a plan required by subsection (k) of section 161 of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended by section 102 of this Act, for the conduct of any activity related to hydraulic fracturing within 1,000 feet of a primary or secondary school. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 691, the gentleman from Colorado (Mr. Polis) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Colorado.
