I think it’s an important message we send out, that supports free speech in our country.
I have authorized the National Guard to assist with any of the fires in the state.
The First Amendment does not tolerate the chilling or infringement of protected speech and the Fourth Amendment likely requires more than one report of a policy violation to trigger law enforcement searches and seizure.
The men and women who serve on the front lines of these fires risk their lives to keep us safe and to protect the lands and communities we love.
