If we defeat the previous question, I will offer an amendment to allow the House to vote on reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank, as proposed by Mr. Fincher yesterday. It is the same exact language that passed the Senate by a vote of 67-29. Mr. Speaker, the Export-Import Bank allows American businesses to compete in global markets and supports hundreds of thousands of jobs. I yield 3 minutes to the distinguished gentleman from Maryland (Mr. Hoyer), the Democratic whip, to discuss our proposal.
